THIS INDENTURE made this 29th day of Aug't in the year of our Lord 1804 between Isaac Hardin of Greenville District & State of So. Carolina of the one part & Benjamin Hardin of the County of Randolph & State of N Carolina of the Other part. Witnesseth that for & in consideration of the sum of Ten pounds in hand paid hath given granted bargained & sold & by these Presents doth give grant bargain & sell unto the Sd. Bnjn. Hardin his heirs & assigns forever all that part of a tract of a tract or parcel of land lying & being in Randolph County & State of No Carolina on the waters of Barnes Creek the property of Gabriel Hardin Dect. Containing 300 acres & bounded as follows. [...near the Feyettville Road... rest of description omitted]. Being the 9th of the above mentioned tract to have and to hold the affsd. 9th part as above mentioned with a [illegible] & improvements to the same in any wise belonging to him the Sd. Bnjn. Hardin his heirs & assigns forever, & the Sd. Isaac Hardin douth hereby covenant & agree to and with the sd. Benjn. Hardin he the Sd. Benjn. Hardin shall & may forever hereafter peaceably [illegible] have hold occupy poss. & enjoy the above mentioned land & premises without the [illegible] or molestation of any person or whatsoever claiming by from or under one in witness whereof I have him to set my hand & seal the day & yr. or [illegible] above written.
